Jordan’s King Abdullah made a symbolic gesture of taking in 2,000 Palestinian children with illnesses, while Egypt proposed a $20 billion plan for rebuilding Gaza without displacing Palestinians. Despite pushback from Arab leaders, Trump remains firm on his proposal to “own” Gaza and develop it into a tourist destination, but has softened threats to cut aid to Jordan and Egypt.
