The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, who was murdered in the Southport knife attacks, expressed that she will “never feel true happiness again.” Elsie’s parents have set up a charity in her name to help children in need, and her mother emphasized the importance of protecting children and holding those responsible for the attacks accountable. The families of the other victims, nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar and six-year-old Bebe King, have also shared their grief and hopes for their daughters’ legacies.
