U.K.'s foreign office cat Palmerston shows up for duty in Bermuda

Palmerston, the former chief mouser for the U.K.’s Foreign Commonwealth Office in London, has come out of retirement to serve as a feline relations consultant for the new Governor of Bermuda, Andrew Murdoch. The rescue cat gained popularity online for his charming cat tales and work ethic, joining other government cats like Larry the Cat, the Chief Mouser at No. 10 Downing St., who has served through six prime ministers and shared a history of catfights with Palmerston but ultimately bonded over a shared sense of duty and love of sunshine.
