Saudi Arabia firmly opposed Trump’s proposal, affirming support for an independent Palestinian state and emphasizing the need for Palestinian rights under international resolutions. Egypt rejected the plan as well, supporting the two-state solution and stressing the importance of the Palestinian Authority governing Gaza, while Turkey denounced the idea as “unacceptable” and reaffirmed its commitment to Palestinian rights.
