Africa Prosperity Dialogues – Let’s Add Value to Our Resources – President

President John Dramani Mahama emphasized the importance of Africa transitioning from raw material exporters to producers of finished goods at the Africa Prosperity Dialogues in Accra. He highlighted the need for indigenizing ownership and adding value to natural resources to boost the economy, create jobs, and increase Africa’s global trade share. Mahama also advocated for investment in infrastructure, education, and trade policies to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area and unlock a $3.4 trillion market for prosperity and job creation in Africa.
