The Princess of Wales, Kate, joined children from All Souls CE Primary School on a school trip to the National Portrait Gallery in London to mark the opening of a new initiative by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The Bobeam Tree Trail, an interactive experience designed to promote social and emotional skills for under five-year-olds, was launched by the princess as part of her return to public duties following cancer treatment. The trail, running until 15 March, allows children to explore the Gallery through activities based on portraits, helping the Bobeam Tree by discovering stories of people through interactive props and audio recordings.
