As markets buckle up for Trump tariffs, these global sectors brace for a rough ride

U.S. President Donald Trump announced hefty tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China, with duties of 25% and 10% imposed, respectively. Canada responded with 25% retaliatory tariffs on $155 billion of U.S. goods, while Trump plans to target the European Union and the U.K. Deutsche Bank warns of severe market shock, with expected impacts including global economic slowdown, higher oil prices, increased consumer prices, and higher U.S. interest rates leading to a stronger U.S. dollar.
