A 64-year-old man driving an aircraft tug at O’Hare International Airport was critically injured when the vehicle was struck by a plane’s wing while crossing a runway. The driver was pinned beneath the vehicle and sustained head and lower body injuries, being rushed to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition but later stabilized. No passengers on the aircraft were harmed, and Area Five detectives were conducting an investigation into the incident.
