Palestinian militant group Hamas handed over three Israeli hostages, including Ofer Kalderon and Yarden Bibas, as part of a truce in Gaza. The hostages were transferred to Israel with the Red Cross’s help. Negotiations continue for the release of remaining hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza in a second phase of the deal, following a 15-month war that resulted in significant casualties on both sides.
