The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has made it possible for taxpayers to submit Corporate Tax registration requests through 23 Government Service Centres located across the UAE.

In a press statement today, the FTA explained that taxpayers can now register directly through the “EmaraTax” platform, which operates 24/7. Additionally, taxpayers can seek assistance from accredited tax agents listed on the FTA’s official website. This initiative aims to expand service channels and encourage tax compliance by providing easy access to services. Government Service Centres offer electronic services that meet government standards and are managed by trained staff to ensure quality service delivery.

Once the application procedures are completed and the data entered at the service centre is verified, the FTA experts review the application internally, and the applicant receives their Tax Registration Number (TRN) via email.

Users can find a list of accredited centres authorized to offer Corporate Tax registration request services on the FTA’s official website at: https://tax.gov.ae/en/tax.support/tasheel.centers.aspx

The FTA has taken organizational and technical measures to ensure efficient service provision through these centres. Specialists at the accredited centres have been trained to submit registration applications smoothly and accurately to increase registration and tax compliance rates.

The Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, Khalid Ali Al Bustani, emphasized the importance of submitting Corporate Tax registration applications within the specified timeframes to avoid tax law violations.

The FTA has expanded its channels for providing the Corporate Tax registration service through Government Service Centres to keep pace with the implementation of Corporate Tax. The FTA has also enhanced its awareness initiatives and diversified service channels.

Zahra Al Dahmani, Director of Taxpayer Services Department in the FTA, highlighted the FTA’s commitment to customer happiness and improving services to reach all individuals and businesses subject to taxes. The FTA maintains effective communication with various business sectors and community groups to facilitate tax procedures.

The FTA reiterated that Corporate Tax registration is available 24/7 through the EmaraTax digital tax services platform and involves four steps that take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Taxpayers already registered for VAT or Excise Tax can access their accounts on EmaraTax to complete the Corporate Tax registration request.

New users can access the EmaraTax platform on the FTA’s e-Services portal to create a new user profile and proceed with Corporate Tax registration.
