Tributes have been paid to Claire Butler, a senior university lecturer in adult nursing at Plymouth University, who was found seriously injured and later pronounced dead after an incident on West Hoe Road. A man known to the victim, Paul Antony Butler, 53, has been arrested on suspicion of her murder. Claire’s family described her as a beautiful, caring soul who loved to dance and sing, and expressed devastation over her loss, stating that no amount of justice will bring her back.
