First-ever data center on the Moon set to launch next month

Lonestar Data Holdings plans to launch the first Moon-based data center, “Freedom Data Center,” piggybacking on an upcoming lunar lander mission by Intuitive Machines. The solar-powered mini-facility offers physical security, environmental friendliness, and already has high-profile customers lined up. Other companies are also eyeing similar space-based facilities, with Lumen Orbit recently raising $11 million for their venture.
