Mikaela Shiffrin will make her comeback from a two-month injury lay-off next week at a World Cup event in France, after sustaining a puncture wound and severe muscle trauma during a race in November 2024. The two-time Olympic champion, who was aiming for her 100th World Cup win before the incident, underwent surgery and a grueling rehabilitation process, but is now physically ready to return to competitive racing at the upcoming FIS Alpine Ski World Cup event in Courchevel on 30 January.
