Australian Open live: Women’s semifinals gets underway with Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Świątek in action

The women’s semifinals at the Australian Open will feature Aryna Sabalenka against Paula Badosa and Madison Keys against Iga Świątek, with Sabalenka and Badosa playing first not before 7.30pm AEDT and Keys and Świątek playing last. Australian player Alex de Minaur responded to a social media claim about his lack of self-belief, while junior player Emerson Jones advanced to the semifinals with comparisons to Ash Barty. In the men’s doubles competition, Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori will face Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten in the final after both teams won their semifinals matches.
