Soldier killed in encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir

An Indian Army soldier, Sepoy Pangala Kartheek, was killed in an overnight encounter with terrorists in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces laid out a cordon after noticing fire at a militant hideout, leading to the gunbattle where Sepoy Pangala Kartheek made the ultimate sacrifice. The Chinar Corps of the army saluted his bravery and sacrifice, expressing condolences to his family.
