Austin Tice's mother returns to Syria in search for son

Debra Tice, mother of missing American journalist Austin Tice, visits Syria to meet with officials from the new de facto government in hopes of finding clues about her son’s whereabouts. Tice’s son went missing in Syria in 2012 while covering the civil war. During her visit, she met with Syria’s de facto leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, who pledged to help her. Tice also mentioned that the new Trump administration has reached out to assist in finding her son.
