33 hostages are expected to be released by Hamas as part of a ceasefire with Israel

Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire and hostage deal after 15 months of fighting, raising hopes for families of loved ones to return home. Hamas will release 33 hostages over six weeks, starting with three, while Israel will release 1,900 Palestinians from prisons. The hostages, including men, women, and children, were taken captive during the Hamas-led assault on southern Israel in 2023. The identities and backgrounds of the hostages are confirmed by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.
