Fifty per cent of women and 20 per cent of men may experience a bone break due to osteoporosis, but early diagnosis and lifestyle adjustments can help manage and prevent the condition. Factors such as age, genetics, nutrition, and exercise play a role in bone health, with no cure for osteoporosis, but treatments and preventive measures like a healthy diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol can reduce the risk of fractures.
