In the third round of the Australian Open, Britain’s Jacob Fearnley was defeated by German second seed Alexander Zverev in straight sets. Despite an impressive run in his first overseas Grand Slam tournament, Fearnley was unable to match Zverev’s consistency, ultimately falling short in crucial moments. Zverev’s powerful serving and composure secured him a spot in the fourth round, where he will face either Ugo Humbert or Arthur Fils.
