The Cabinet was expected to approve a U.S., Qatar, and Egypt-brokered deal for a cease-fire and hostage release in Gaza, aiming to end a 15-month war that caused significant casualties. Netanyahu’s office stated that the Cabinet will only convene once mediators confirm Hamas has accepted all terms of the agreement.
