If TikTok goes dark for Americans on Sunday due to a law signed by President Joe Biden in April 2024, VPNs could be a solution for accessing the app. The Chinese-owned app is set to be removed from mobile app stores for U.S. users unless it is sold to a qualified buyer before the deadline. Even those who already have the app downloaded may not be able to continue using it, as TikTok plans to shut its service for Americans on Sunday, with Apple and Google expected to take down the apps from their stores.
