Duduza club to host Comrades qualifier

The Mamepe Striders are set to host the first MNS Attorneys Carnival City Marathon on May 1, featuring a 42.2km distance as their third official race. The event has attracted top Comrades Marathon ‘bus drivers’ as ambassadors, making it a qualifying race with a fast and flat route through the Brakpan suburbs. With various distances available, including a half-marathon and 10km, the marathon is a significant step towards fulfilling the club’s mission and vision, providing a closer and central race option for East Rand runners.
