Police believe a teenager was sitting in one of two vehicles that were on display outside Myer. They understand the vehicle suddenly accelerated forward, smashing a glass panel, and then reversed into beauty concession stands at the department store.

Photos posted online appeared to show the vehicle was a BYD electric vehicle.
A man who was in the vicinity, who requested to remain anonymous, told SBS News he heard a loud bang before \”everyone got up and ran\”.
Police said a man in his 50s was treated for minor head injuries, and another in his 30s was treated for chest injuries.

\”They were both taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition,\” NSW police said in a statement.
