Tesco urged to drop ‘unethical’ baby formula trial

Tesco has faced criticism for a trial where midwives were trained by Danone to offer feeding advice at their Cheshunt store, reminiscent of past unethical practices by formula companies. One midwife quit the pilot, citing concerns about promoting formula milk and violating the International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes.
