In October 1944, armed Dutch patriots in Nijmegen rounded up townspeople accused of collaborating with the Nazis. Nearly half a million names of suspected collaborators during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands have been published online by the Central Archives of the Special Jurisdiction (CABR). The digitization project, funded by the Dutch government, aims to provide easy access to the historical archive, including police reports, photographs, and personal documents. The online archive, currently available only in Dutch, is expected to be completed in 2027.
