Meta has appointed three new board members, including UFC chief Dana White and European investor John Elkann, as CEO Mark Zuckerberg aims to strengthen ties with Donald Trump. Former UK deputy prime minister Nick Clegg has left his role, with White, Elkann, and former Microsoft executive Charlie Songhurst joining the board. White’s appointment follows a thaw in relations between Meta and Trump, with Zuckerberg donating to the president-elect’s inauguration fund and visiting Mar-a-Lago.
