Belgium to lead EU mission at Ghana’s inauguration

Belgium’s Foreign Minister Bernard Quintin will lead an EU delegation to Ghana’s President-elect’s inauguration on Jan 7, 2025, representing the European Union at the event to reaffirm partnership preferences. The delegation includes top officials like the EU Ambassador to Ghana and Belgium’s Ambassador to Ghana, accompanying President-elect John Dramani Mahama, who won the election with 56.55% of the votes, strengthening the EU-Ghana economic cooperation agreements for sustainable development and trade.
