French police in Brest detained an Algerian influencer known as “Zazouyoussef” for urging his followers to carry out attacks in France, ahead of the 10th anniversary of the 2015 Charlie Hebdo and kosher supermarket attacks. The 25-year-old was arrested for expressing sympathy for terrorism and violating residency laws, with another man also detained for similar charges. With over 400,000 TikTok followers, the influencer had been ordered to leave France last year and was known for threatening violence against opponents of the Algerian government.
