NEW DELHI: Trinamool Congress on Thursday said that West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee suffered a major injury, and was later admitted to the hospital.The All India Trinamool Congress shared photos of the West Bengal chief minister on a hospital bed with a deep cut on her forehead and blood on her face. The details of how she received the injury are not known as yet.According to PTI sources, TMC national general secretary and Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee got her admitted to the hospital.State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar wished her a speedy recovery.”Wishing chief minister Mamata Banerjee a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with her for a quick return to good health,” West Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
