Request for Information issued for manufacturing of 23-mm anti-drone ammunition to boost Army's air defence capabilities

The Indian government has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the manufacturing of 23-mm anti-drone ammunition to enhance the Army’s air defence capabilities. The ammunition is designed to be used with the existing “Zu 23mm and Schilka Weapon System” for drone destruction. The RFI invites defence public sector undertakings and private vendors to participate in the project under the “Make in India” initiative.
