Two juveniles were detained and charged for allegedly carjacking a couple at gunpoint outside a suburban movie theater in DuPage County. The incident occurred on Dec. 29 when armed males demanded keys and personal belongings before fleeing in stolen vehicles, leading to a police pursuit and subsequent arrests. The suspects, facing charges of aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery, will remain detained until their court date on Jan. 9.
