Elon Musk criticized Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour government, stating that very few businesses want to invest in Britain under their administration, in response to a call for Tesla to open a gigafactory in Scotland. Musk’s remarks risk undermining Starmer’s efforts to attract more businesses to the UK, as he has clashed with Musk in the past over controversial statements on social media. Additionally, Musk also criticized the prime minister and met with Nigel Farage at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion, amid rumors of a potential $100m donation to Reform UK.
