Washington State has hired Jimmy Rogers from South Dakota State as their new head football coach, signing him to a five-year deal worth $1.57 million per year. Rogers led South Dakota State to an FCS national title in 2023 and will replace Jake Dickert, who left for Wake Forest. Rogers may bring transfers from South Dakota State to help rebuild the Washington State roster, including draft prospect Mark Gronowski and standout receiver Griffin Wilde.
