Two reporters were killed and several wounded in a gang attack at the reopening of Port-au-Prince’s General Hospital in Haiti. The journalists were identified as Markenzy Nathoux and Jimmy Jean, with the attack blamed on the Viv Ansanm coalition of gangs. Haiti’s interim president condemned the violence, which targeted an institution dedicated to health and life, as unacceptable.
