Elderly woman critically injured in 2-alarm apartment fire in midtown

A woman in her 80s sustained life-threatening injuries in a two-alarm fire at a midtown apartment building on Yonge Street and Davisville Avenue. Firefighters responded to reports of a large fire on the 24th floor, evacuating residents and rescuing the woman from her unit before she was taken to a trauma center by police.
