Malaysia will resume the search for the wreckage of missing flight MH370, with Ocean Infinity exploring a new 15,000 square kilometre area in the southern Indian Ocean. The Australian-led search was suspended in 2017 after three years of searching for the Boeing 777 that disappeared in 2014 with 239 people on board. The new search, on a “no find, no fee” basis, will cost Malaysia $70 million if the plane is found, with the hope of providing closure to the families of the victims.
