Five IEDs, totaling 21.5 kg, were discovered in Manipur’s Imphal East district during a joint operation by the Spear Corps and state police. The recovery included two 5.5 kg IEDs, one 4 kg IED, two 3.5 kg IEDs, and a 25m Cordtex wire, with a canine playing a vital role in the operation. In Kangpokpi district, security forces seized a submachine gun and an improvised mortar known locally as ‘pumpi’ from Phaileng.
