Luigi Mangione has been charged with first-degree murder, as well as two counts of second-degree murder, including one as an act of “terrorism”, for the killing of healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York. He was arrested in Pennsylvania with a ghost gun and fake ID, and evidence linking him to the crime includes fingerprints found at the scene. While awaiting extradition to New York, he remains in custody at a maximum-security prison and has been denied bail.
