Wisconsin kayaker who faked his death and fled the country is charged

Ryan Borgwardt, a Wisconsin man who faked his drowning and left his family for Eastern Europe, returned to the U.S. after four months and was charged with obstructing a lake search for his body. Borgwardt detailed how he planned his disappearance, paddling a kayak to the middle of a lake and dumping his phone.
