Charles Kushner, founder of Kushner Companies, was pardoned by Trump in 2020 for tax evasion and illegal campaign donations, stemming from a scheme of revenge and intimidation involving his brother-in-law. Idaho becomes first state to prefer death by firing squad for executions
Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed a bill designating the firing squad as the preferred method of execution for capital punishment, making Idaho the only state in the U.S. to do so. This decision comes after Brad Sigmon was executed by firing squad in South Carolina, and Idaho has nine prisoners on death row. The bill was supported by over two-thirds of the legislature and also kept lethal injection as a backup method. Full Article
