3 women stabbed after Friday evening dispute on South Side

Three women were stabbed in the South Side’s Chatham neighborhood after a dispute between neighbors escalated on Friday evening. The incident, which occurred in the 8200 block of South Ellis Avenue around 7:17 p.m., resulted in the women being hospitalized. The Chicago Police Department confirmed that one individual was taken into custody in connection with the stabbings.
