Finlay MacDonald, 41, was sentenced to at least 28 years in prison for a series of violent attacks in the Scottish Highlands, including stabbing his wife Rowena and shooting his brother-in-law John MacKinnon on the Isle of Skye before attempting to kill Fay and John MacKenzie on the mainland.
