Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris is set to reopen next week after a five-and-a-half-year restoration following a devastating fire in 2019. French President Emmanuel Macron toured the renovated cathedral and praised the work of the craftsmen involved. The project, funded by donations from around the world, has restored the cathedral to its former glory, with an opening ceremony planned for Dec. 7 to celebrate its completion.
