X says The Onion can’t have Alex Jones’ Infowars accounts

In The Onion’s attempt to purchase Infowars from Alex Jones, X Corporation filed an objection in Bankruptcy Court citing their Terms of Service which prevent the transfer of Infowars’ accounts without consent. Jones’ assets were put up for auction to pay off legal damages from Sandy Hook lawsuits, with The Onion’s parent company winning the bid but facing a legal challenge from X Corporation. US Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez has called for a hearing to review the auction process and ensure fairness in the sale of Infowars to The Onion on December 9 or 17.
