The NBL has banned one spectator for life and another for 10 years for their involvement in a courtside scuffle with Adelaide 36ers players, following an incident at a game against Melbourne United. Sixers imports Montrezl Harrell and Kendric Davis were also suspended for three and two games, respectively, with Harrell receiving fines as well. Despite allegations of a racial slur being directed at Davis, the tribunal found no conclusive evidence to support this claim. The league hopes to send a clear message against such behavior and protect the family-friendly atmosphere of NBL games.
