Lt Gen Rajeev Puri has called for a comprehensive review of women commanding officers’ (COs) performance in the Indian Army, citing concerns about their leadership effectiveness. In a letter to Lt Gen Ram Chander Tiwari, he highlighted issues such as poor interpersonal relations, lack of empathy, and authoritarian decision-making among women COs in his corps. Lt Gen Puri also noted incidents of misplaced entitlement and over-ambition, emphasizing the need for gender-neutral postings and selection processes for COs.

Radicalisation conspiracy by Pak terror outfit: NIA searches in four states
The National Investigation Agency conducted searches in multiple states to investigate a conspiracy by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed to radicalize youth and spread terror in India.
