Israel has launched multiple attacks on Hezbollah strongholds in southern Beirut, sparking battles in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah claimed 50 attacks on Israeli targets. The Israeli military reported that Hezbollah fired 250 projectiles into Israel, targeting areas like the Ashdod naval base and military sites near Tel Aviv. The United States and the European Union are urging for a ceasefire in the conflict, which has resulted in over 3,754 deaths since October 2023.
