The 76-year-old monarch, who had been diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year, is now planning an official visit to India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh as part of a subcontinent tour to strengthen political and cultural ties post-Brexit. The visit comes after a recent meeting between Prime Ministers Keir Starmer and Narendra Modi, with the Indian PM expressing a desire to host the royal couple following their canceled trip in 2022.
