‘Not signed any agreement to operate main airport in Kenya’: Adani group clarifies on Kenya cancelling contract

The Adani Group clarified it has not signed any binding agreement to operate Kenya’s main airport amidst reports of Kenya cancelling deals after a US bribery indictment. The group confirmed establishing subsidiaries in Kenya for airport and power transmission projects, stating no binding agreements have been made and no disclosure is required under SEBI regulations. President Ruto canceled a proposed $2 billion airport deal and a $736 million power transmission partnership following the indictment of Gautam Adani, with the group denying the allegations and pursuing legal action.
