Indian Dornier 228 aircraft flypast on the sidelines of India-CARICOM Summit

Leaders of India and Guyana witnessed a flypast of two Dornier 228 aircraft from India during the 2nd India-CARICOM Summit. The Dornier 228, a twin-engine turboprop manufactured by HAL, is used for maritime patrol and surveillance, search and rescue, and medical evacuation. The aircraft was commissioned by the Guyanese Defense Force in April this year, showcasing its versatility and capabilities.
